A one-man show offering school visits and virtual school visits to raise attainment in English skills.
Barrie is a former English teacher, consultant and examiner. Some pupils call him the ‘Punctuation Man’ and he’s been visiting schools for fourteen years.
Through school visits (remotely and in person), Barrie can help your pupils to remember, understand and apply key English skills such as punctuation and grammar. What better way to learn than learning through laughter?
School visits delivering English shows assist with your identified areas for improvement.
Virtual school visits deliver English shows direct to your classroom or to your pupils’ homes via MS Teams, Zoom, Meet, or your platform of choice.
Free English resources save you time and money.
SPAG tests, GCSEs, reading tests... they’re all a huge cause of stress for heads and teachers who are trying to engage pupils in their learning.
Do you think it would be great if there was a way to engage pupils AND improve their SPAG test scores? You should get in touch with Barrie.
When we go to the theatre, or a concert, we remember what we’ve seen. We talk about it with our friends. It’s an experience that we learn from. The concept of The Punctuation Show adapts this to the school curriculum.
The shows combine a comedy show, a rock concert and a (literally) all-singing, all-dancing literacy lesson to create an impact on results.

Whatever your punctuation, grammar, reading or English GCSE needs are, you’ll find a school visit or virtual school visit that will help.
