‘In March 2020, all three schools (Ysgol Froncysyllte, Ysgol Y Garth and Ysgol Pentre) in The Dee Valley Federation participated in Ready, Steady, Read with Laura Rowlands from Usborne Books. This exciting reading event saw the Federation Children raise an incredible £882.50 which saw Usborne add another £529.50 making a total of an amazing £1,412! Laura challenged us to collect enough money to buy books that would make a tower taller than her, which is exactly what we did!!
