What Happens in a Workshop?


Students will participate in:



  • A breathtaking virtual reality experience where they can physically walk around and manipulate objects using the latest headsets

  • A collaborative team challenge where they must work together to synthesise their knowledge and solve a problem based on a real-world career scenario

  • Guided instruction from a fully qualified teacher who adapts the content to meet the needs of every learner.

Immersive Pathways’ workshops are a powerful tool for enriching your curriculum and meeting key educational directives:



  • National Curriculum: Each session is built around a key topic from the KS3 or KS4 curriculum

  • Cross-Curricular Links: The content naturally builds bridges to Science, Computing, Geography, Design Technology, and History

  • Careers Provision (Gatsby Benchmarks): Immersive Pathways directly addresses the requirement to integrate careers into subject learning, providing meaningful encounters with STEM-related professions

  • Inclusivity: The experience is designed to be fully accessible for students with mobility issues and other disabilities.


About the Facilitator


Sessions are delivered by a fully qualified teacher with a PGCE and classroom experience across mainstream, SEND, and Alternative Provision settings. They bring not only ground-breaking immersive software that isn't otherwise available to UK schools but also a deep understanding of how to effectively manage a classroom and make learning accessible for all students. All facilitators are subject to an enhanced DBS check.


Practical Details


Target age: KS3 & KS4
Group size: To ensure a quality experience, each session is for a maximum of 8 students, but the company deliver multiple sessions per visit.
Duration: Immersive Pathways offer half-day (2 x 90-minute sessions) and full-day (4 x 90-minute sessions) formats.

A full-day workshop is £599, and half-day is £350, fully inclusive of taxes and travel.


They also offer intervention courses that include virtual work-experience and accredited CPD hours.
