Council for Voluntary Service (CVS): Crawley Community Action

Crawley Community Action is an independent charity that offers advice, information, help and support to local charities, voluntary and community groups.

Council for Voluntary Service (CVS): Mid-Sussex Voluntary Action (MSVA)

Helping local charities and voluntary groups in Mid Sussex set up, grow and thrive. Their e-bulletins include leads for local grants.

Council for Voluntary Service (CVS): VAAC and the West Sussex Infrastructure Alliance

The WSVCSI is made up of 4 place-based infrastructure organisations, delivering support services to the voluntary and community sector across West Sussex.

Council for Voluntary Service (CVS): Voluntary Action Arun & Chichester

Their vision is to see a strong, vibrant voluntary and community sector that supports, inspires and empowers individuals and communities throughout Arun and Chichester.

Forest School Association - find your local group For the advancement of education for public benefit through promotion and support of quality Forest School in the United Kingdom using any means to enable all children, young people and adults to benefit from increased opportunities for high quality and varied educational experiences in the natural world. Search for FSA affiliated groups.

Gatwick Airport Community Trust

Awards grants annually for deserving projects within the area of benefit which covers parts of East and West Sussex, Surrey and Kent. Read more on funding and grants.

Hall & Woodhouse Community Chest

Grants to improve the local area - helping the youth, elderly, disabled, arts environment and more.

Horsham District Council

Council grants for community projects.

Rampion Fund

Supporting charities within a defined area of benefit to realise projects linked to sustainability and ecology. PTAs can apply as long as there is an element of community benefit.

Southover Manor Trust

Supporting the learning of young people under the age of 25 in East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove.

The Steve Bernard Foundation

Supporting youngsters in disability, elite, schools, clubs & disadvantaged sports. £10,000 available for Sussex based projects. Grants of £100 – £1,000 available. Tend to buy equipment or pay coaches direct than give out cash.

Sussex Community Foundation Use the search facility to select education related grants. All Community Foundations (UK)
West Sussex Council Funding for voluntary and community organisations Funding for voluntary and community organisations. Find sources of funding and advice for the 'third sector'.
Worthing Community Chest A registered, local, independent charity they support projects and activities in Worthing which enable social and economic wellbeing. We do this by awarding small grants to groups, clubs, events, and other good causes.
