Amory, Viscount Amory’s Charitable Trust

Supports good causes local to Devon. The majority of grants go to educational projects. Happy to support schools. No maximum. Must show evidence of need and local involvement, how much raised so far and cost of project etc. Applications to be marked for the attention of the Trust Secretary. This trust has a strong preference for organizations in Devon, many of which receive recurrent grants. It has previously supported welfare, educational and older people. Grants are also made to individuals. Exclusions: No grants to individual applications from outside south west England.

Typical Grant size: small grants up to £1,000.

Council for Voluntary Service (CVS)

The Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) advises organisations about good volunteering practices and advertises volunteering opportunities in a consistent way. Visit the website to find your local group.

Devon Community Foundation

Established in 1996, Devon Community Foundation is a unique organisation, privileged to be working alongside people who are motivated by wanting to make a difference across Devon. Check regularly for updated grant information. All Community Foundations (UK)

Devon Gardens Trust Provides advice, mentoring and grants, alongside the Growing Devon Schools Partnership (GDSP) initiative.
