Local Grants & Support

Active Derbyshire Funding to support a physical activity or sport project, individual, school or coach in the Derbyshire area. 
Arts Development  Aims to bring out the capabilities and possibilities of the arts in a range of contexts including health, communities, education and regeneration.
Better Derbyshire Dales Fund A small grants scheme for voluntary and community groups in the Derbyshire Dales.
Community Action Derby CAD is a registered charity providing support and guidance for voluntary and community groups. They provide funding advice and information, offer a bid-writing service and support and advice in developing good management practice, recruit and place volunteers, and support those responsible for managing volunteers, promote your organisation's events and organise networking and funding events.
Council for Voluntary Service (CVS): Derbyshire Dales CVS (DDCVS) Supporting voluntary and community groups across the Derbyshire Dales.

Council for Voluntary Service (CVS): High Peak CVS

Helping to ensure the voluntary sector in the High Peak area of Derbyshire can thrive and has a voice to influence how its communities remain active and resilient. High Peak CVS provides specialist support to community and voluntary groups.
Council for Voluntary Service (CVS): Links CVS Links provides support to voluntary organisations and community groups operating in Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire.
Council for Voluntary Service (CVS): South Derbyshire CVS (SDCVS) A local charity working to improve the quality of life for people in South Derbyshire, providing services to individuals in need as well as supporting voluntary groups and communities.

Derbyshire Council The council provide a range of grants to assist in the delivery of social, economic, health, environmental and cultural services that help improve the quality of life of many local people.
Derbyshire Community Leadership Scheme A scheme to provide small grants to community, voluntary, youth and other local organisations. Its aim is to support projects and initiatives that will benefit local communities.
Derbyshire Dales Local Projects Fund The 'Local Projects Fund' is a grant scheme that helps communities deliver their ambitions. Please see the guidance you need to apply for funding.
Derby Museums Bringing the museum to you! Experienced learning facilitators will lead exciting and interactive curriculum-linked sessions in schools, using real and replica objects.
Derbyshire Music Education Hub A collaboration between key local and regional music organisations, led by the Derby & Derbyshire Music Partnership, working together to create joined up, high quality music education in and out of school.

Foundation Derbyshire Established in 1996, Foundation Derbyshire (the new operating name for Derbyshire Community Foundation) now manages endowment funds of over £6.5 million and has made over £14 million of grants across Derbyshire. All Community Foundations (UK)
Funding for SEN Funding for special educational needs (SEN) in mainstream schools.
The Ernest Bailey Charity Funds must be applied for the general benefit of the inhabitants of Matlock and district (Matlock, Matlock Bath, Bonsall, Cromford, Darley Dale, Northwood and Tinkersley, Rowsley (part) South Darley, Starkholmes and Tansley).
