PLANNING

  • Who made up your organising team? Teachers and parents
  • Have you ever organised an event like this before? We have run two or three previous fayres
  • Did you run a raffle? Yes
  • How much did you charge for entry? No charge

VOLUNTEERS AND SUPPORT

  • Did you allow outside stallholders? Yes
  • How much did you charge stallholders? £10 plus a raffle prize donation
  • How did you get people to volunteer? We sent out emails and used Facebook, though most of our team was made up of willing volunteers anyway
  • How did you draw up your roster? Unfortunately we didn't have enough volunteers to roster stalls, so people stayed on their appointed stall for the whole fair
  • How did you thank your volunteers? Via personal Facebook messages or emails
